Dolly Couture-http://www.dollycouture.com/

Are you getting married? Consider a Retro themed Wedding. Think Audrey Hepburn's dress in Funny Face. A tea length dresss is perfect for a 2nd Wedding or for your bridesmaids. A teenager might consider wearing one to her prom. You can also order the dress in  a wide variety of colors.

Dolly Couture offers Bridal and Formal Wear Dresses in Tea Length. They have stock and custom designs. Custom Designs are handy for those who are not a size 2,or if you want changes made to an existing Dolly Couture design. You can submit your measurements and then they will begin designing a dress to fit your dreams. They also offer 2 styles of hats. They can make a matching petticoat too!

Check out these styles:

They are tooooo cute!

* The author plans to have a similar dress made for portraits in fall '10.  Stay tuned, I will document the entire process from start to finish. Stay Tuned!

Another choice for Custom Reproduction Dresses is:

Porshe's Place-http://www.etsy.com/shop/porshesplace

Porshe's Place offers many types of retro dresses. If you are big busted (like me), you already know that it is hard to find a great looking and great fitting vintage dress. In your Porshe's Place dress you will knock his socks off. They also work for  Bridesmaid dresses,Proms, and  Holiday Parties.  Have a Black one made and you have the classic  "Little Black Dress."   The shop is adding different patterns all of the time. You just pick the type of dress you fancy, and she will get back to you about your measurements.  Dress # 5145 is my favorite. I prefer a solid black or navy dress. She also makes crinolines and petticoats. They are a must! Here are a few of her dresses:

Guy's Swingwear

If you are taking your Doll out dancing, you have to have  the appropriate "swing style" threads...

Think Vince Vaughn in "Swingers." If you have not seen the movie, rent it. For a casual look, a Guy can get away with a bowling shirt, hawaiian shirt, fedora hat, dockers style pants to match shirt, and loafers.  If your Doll is dressed in cocktail attire, wear a suit and just add a Fedora Hat that matches your suit. The Hat is a must!

*I will be adding links for men's clothing soon, so stay tuned....
